Luminest received two local grants to assist in the rehabilitation of the exterior of our two unit apartment building, 78 W. Queen Street.  The Franklin County Commissioners awarded a Housing Trust Grant for a roof replacement, gutters and downspouts, painting the building and repairing porches.  The Main Street Program awarded funds through the Main Street Façade program to assist with the cost to paint the front of the building, repair the front porch, add shutters and an awning over the front door.  The local support helps Luminest rehabilitate existing buildings that provide two units for working families.
